Stranger Things: S2, E6
The pollywog has gone rogue; Steve and Dustin find it has eaten its way out of the cellar, not to mention having shed a significant amount of slimy skin. They decide to lay a type of bunker down in the woods, leaving a trail of bait in order to recapture this thing.
Max and Lucas collaborate in the junkyard, hosing the area down with gasoline. When night falls, they keep watch from the bus and Max pours her heart out to her crush. Do all these kids ever find time to eat or take a nap?
Jonathan and Nancy get drunk on Stoli with their new friend, before finally deciding to make good on repressed feelings for each other. This is fun to watch unfold, and satisfying for those who buy into this pairing, but I just don't.
Will and Hopper are hospitalized. The latter gets hosed down and decontaminated, while the other convulses and experiences invisible burns. Will is pretty far gone, with no one able to articulate a reason for how he's behaving the way he is. When he finally does calm down, our boy is cold, distant, and unable to recognize Bob. So, you know there is more trouble looming.
