Twin Peaks: S2, E4
In a tearful confession, Leland Palmer admits to having murdered Jacques Renault to Cooper and Truman. His daughter's death, he says, is what drove him to do it. A big revelation for this point in the season, which in turn spurs the deceased's brother Jean to pay a visit to Ben Horne.
After showing Ben a video of Audrey tied and gagged at One-Eyed Jacks, Jean demands a ransom, and that it be delivered by Cooper, who he indicates in the surveillance tape.
Norma and Hank prepare for the arrival of a major food critic; the arrival of Tajimura to Twin Peaks coincides with their anticipation, and it is believed he's the one they've been waiting for.
Donna and Harold read from Laura's diary over dinner, creating a difficult moment for them both.
It turns out Josie Packard isn't the babe in the woods she was made out to be in the first season; she plots with her brother over her dead husband's assets, and it's determined she is using Truman for her own greed-driven ends.
