Twin Peaks: S2, E9
Catherine Martell, under the guise of Tajimura, pays a visit to Ben at the Twin Peaks Jail. When she reveals her identity to him, Ben insists she must give Truman his alibi for the night of Laura's death. Catherine seems to comply, under the condition Ben sign Ghostwood Estates back over to her. Foolishly he adheres, only to be left alone once again behind bars.
Leland/Bob invites Donna into the Palmer's house, and it seems as though he's poised to make a third kill until the act is interrupted by Sheriff Truman.
Cooper requests twenty-four hours to finally find out who in fact murdered Laura. He rounds up Truman, Hawk, Leland, Ben, Bobby, Major Briggs, and even the wheelchair-ridden Leo at the Roadhouse to start this off. His dream of the dancing dwarf is revisited, along with the secret Laura whispers in his ear; only now, we can hear what was shared, "My father killed me."
Leland is put in prison; immediately he starts to rant, rave, and speak in the voice of killer Bob. In an intense confession, he admits to the murders of Laura and Maddy. The smoke alarm goes off, drenching everyone at the police station. The water seems to coax Leland out of the grip of Bob's possession, and he makes his final confession as himself. In the arms of Cooper, he dies.
