Twin Peaks: S2, E10
Bobby's plan to blackmail Ben Horne with the cassette tape is botched, and he gets escorted out of his office. Shelly insists it's time to think of alternate plans for the incapacitated Leo, who continues to be an amusing, dribbling presence on the show.
Cooper's infiltration into One-Eyed Jacks lands him in hot water with the FBI; he is asked for his gun and badge before being suspended from duty. Truman refuses to comply with any investigation pertaining to One-Eyed Jacks, Cooper's excursion into Canadian territory, or the murders of Jacques, Emery, and Blackie.
Norma finally realizes who the long-awaited food critic is--her mother. A clearly strained relationship becomes severed after she writes a cold, discriminatory review of the RR Diner; Norma tells her mother to leave Twin Peaks and never come back.
Nadine assimilates into high school activities; she tries out for the cheerleading squad, wowing her teen peers with gymnastic prowess in spite of being decades older. Truly, one of the more hilarious proportions of the second season, as Ed finds it increasingly difficult to contend with this "new" Nadine.
