After a caustic exchange with Dr. Hayward at the morgue, Albert gives the Sheriff and Cooper an autopsy report on Laura Palmer. We find out she had a cocaine problem, which at this point in the show shouldn't be much of a surprise.
Cooper does a handwriting sample on Audrey and concludes she was the one who slipped him the 'One-Eyed Jacks' memo under his door. Meanwhile, he attempts to decipher a dream he had the previous night.
These dreams, as mentioned before, are just as important in the investigation process of Laura's death, so make a point to remember what happens in them.
Laura's cousin Maddie Ferguson arrives to accompany her aunt and uncle to her funeral, where a great deal of drama erupts.
