Guys, what’s with the Bernie meme? What makes his image so funny? The poor guy has been through enough. If he isn’t eighty, then he is certainly knocking on eighty’s door, and exhibits more energy than someone fifty years younger than himself during his public appearances and appeals. To me, the focal point of the “funny,” as it applies to Mr. Sanders, is his disheveled nature. Right? His receded, wind-blown hair, wool mittens, and Burton snowboarding jacket all lend to an overall rugged countenance that we’ve come to expect from Sanders. All things considered, he is a likable guy and I know that the photo and its transposition into just about everything comes from that esteem.
