From the same guy who brought you “Proud Boys, stand back and stand by,” and “fine people on both sides,” here’s the swan song of Prez Trump’s political career—January 6, 2021.
It’s quite simple. If you’re still a Trump supporter, you are not interested in politics; you are interested in anarchy.
You can protest all you want, but you can’t trespass. You just can’t. I’m likely the sixth or seventh hundred person to convey this point to you today, but had these protesters been the “radical left,” well, you know how it would’ve been with the blue. The double standard speaks for itself.
Hopefully, scores of trespassing Tea Party jerk-offs and Trump Humpers got arrested today. Again—protest, by all means. But why are you infiltrating the Capitol and disrupting constitutional processes? Your own party is disgusted for Christ’s sake!
For all my Trump hating, I’m not the kind of person that’s going to say I hate every single thing Repubs do. That’s not true. Today could bear testimony to that; Pence AND McConnell shut down Trump’s plight. That was huge, and I thank both of them. Wholeheartedly.
Look, democracy has to be the superseding force governing the electoral outcomes of this nation. Passion, emotion, FEELINGS— yeah you can have them but they aren’t worth a damn when weighing the outcomes here. Case in point: November 2016, when we were all hating life. There was nothing we could do about the incoming Cheeto-elect; that was that. Did anyone invade the Capitol? Not to my knowledge, no.
The people who stormed the Capitol today were and are trying to stage a grandiose revolt that contests the laws and decrees that have been governing us for over 200 years. How un-American is that, I ask you?
These aren’t patriots. These are spiteful, insecure people who feel like they belong to a special movement because you-know-who says they do. Considering the Cheeto tweets put out earlier today which sought to mollify these aforesaid humpers and jerk-offs, this wasn’t a president manning a nation today; this was an entertainer playing on emotions of ignorant communities of people. All because—he wants the followers! He doesn’t care about leading a country! Did he ever?
Good lord, even Fox was reporting the news correctly today.
